Christian Dior is totally doing it for me this season with his clutches. These three stone clutches are absolutely gorgeous. The red one is coral with silk lining beneath. The color combination perfectly offsets the beautiful deep orange-red of the coral. The green clutch is malachite with a deep forest green silk lining. The dark green silk matches the darker green bands in the malachite. The blue clutch is lapis with slightly contrasting purple silk lining that beautifully compliments the stone. I honestly don't think I could choose if I had to pick one, they are so equally beautiful. But since they are $2,700, I won't have that problem. Available at Vivre.

These handbags debuted at the Christian Dior Spring 2009 Runway show. I really like them. I love the way they incorporate the use of more than one material, like the alligator and cracked leather with the giraffe print fur. The shape of the bags is somewhat unconventional, but it works. And I like the fur detail on the strap as well. I look forward to seeing them in the stores and, depending on the price point, buying one.

Really, the shoes stole the show in this collection.

This gorgeous handbag is Christian Dior's Babe Python Frame Bag. This elegant and chic double-frame style bag is exquisitely crafted of genuine python and it comes with a matching detachable coin purse( how cute).

I love the color combination of gold and off white for Fall/Winter. The lining is suede, my favorite. Overall, this is a very rich, classy handbag. And if I were rich, I would buy it. Available at Saks, $6,550.

I ask for a handbag on every occasion, including anniversary and I only sometimes get one. Do you really want to impress her? I haven't met a woman who does not lust for this purse. It's beautiful and feminine, like her, right? It's a Marc Jacobs Ostrich Stam (after one of the current "super models", Jessica Stam) . $5,500.

If you decide to venture into a department store to get her handbag, stick to the big name labels like Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Versace, Christian Dior, Prada, Valentino.

I know some of these prices are a little high, but she's worth it. I could have suggested the Hermes Birkin. 

Love this handbag! Very original, beautifully detailed and tastefully colorful.

It's Christian Dior's Samourai 1947 Woven Frame handbag. The design is an ornate and original basket weave in emerald green leather or bright fushia leather. It also comes in brown. I love the color choices for this handbag. Not traditional Fall colors, but perfect for the season.

Then there are the carved serpents atop the tortoiseshell frame. I love the graceful posture of the serpents, very pretty. Even the straps are special on this handbag. The leather shoulder straps are twisted in an elaborate design. Showcasing the Dior logo is a miniature Louis XVI picture frame hanging from a leather strap. Inside, you'll find Dior jacquard lining, a logo tag and a 7 inch zip pocket. It has metal feet to protect the base and a pretty snap clasp.

This beautiful handbag measures 9 1/2"H x 12"W x 5"D.

This handbag is sure to be an overall season "It bag" for those that can afford the $3,900 pricetag.

I love this handbag, both colors. It's Fall 2008 Christian Dior, croc embossed patent leather. So the leather is imprinted to look like croc. If it were real croc it would be about 10x more expensive. This dior is reasonably priced at $1,850.

It has an open top for easy entry, but deep enough so nothing will fall out. There is an outer and inner pocket. Made in Italy.
