These bright and happy handbags are the Dolce and Gabanna Miss Bye Bye Candy Wrapper Tote. Personally, I like all three colors, but the gold one would be a great everyday bag. They are all roomy and could everything, and the tote shape is always convenient and easy to throw over the shoulder. These bags are crinkled metallic vinyl with a leather base. The upcoming Spring 2009 is going to showcase many extraordinary and fabulous handbags, and Dolce & Gabanna will be among the designers. These guys put together a handbag collection that looked more like jewelry than a purse. They were covered in sequins, jewels, pearls and they dripped with chic style. There was not a traditional, simple purse on the runway. We saw black crocodile paired with over sized sequins and straps consisting of gold chains, strands of pearls, and chunky resin chains. And we saw purses that were covered in silver sequins, that looked like a purse shaped disco ball. These handbags were definitely not an everyday bag, well, at least not for me. But someone really fierce could pull it off. This collection was definitely one of my favorites, but I find myself saying that about a lot of the Spring 2009 handbag collections. These Dolce & Gabanna handbags are in my top five for the season.

I think this bag is very interesting. It's the Dolce and Gabanna Miss Glamorous Fur Print Handbag. I assume it's marketed for people who refuse to wear fur, possibly a statement bag. I have heard rumblings that it is for people that like the look of fur, but don't like the real thing. That doesn't make sense, they would just wear faux fur, right? The rich D&G grained-leather is printed with artistic effects, resulting in a unique and tres chic handbag.The Miss Glamorous (love the name) measures 16.5"x 7.5"x 8" . It's a little pricey, $2,150. This handbag is Dolce and Gabanna's Lily Satchel, Fall 2008. I think it's hideous. It is totally covered in leopard -print haircalf, even the handles. They could have made this bag somewhat wearable by having the top handles black.

I don't like hair covered bags at all. They can only be worn in the winter and they are scratchy. 

The leopard print spots are too small.

It has a functional D&G padlock with hanging key, and zip closure. It has canvas lining and an interior zip pocket. It measures 8"H x 9"W x 9"D.

D&G is usually fabulous, but they totally missed with this handbag.
