While part of me is getting tired of the Fendi baguettes, because they are much too small, this brightly colored one is fabulous. This is the Fendi Rainbow Logo Baguette and its made from brightly colored silk and is absolutely beautiful in person.  This would be a fantastic evening bag, when you only need to carry a few small things. This is a new Fendi release. It's the Ombre Jacquard Chef Bag, and I'm not sure I like it. The colors are too boring. It would be prettier if it were a solid pastel, but the muted multi-color makes it look worn and old. The blue snakeskin embossed trim is nice, however I think it's wasted on this bag. This is Fendi's new Jeweled Canvas Baguette, and I love it! It's one of their smaller baguettes, though, so it's not a realistic everyday bag. It is tan, woven canvas with black leather trim, but the beauty is in the jeweled embellishments. The chain strap is quite Chanel -ish, and beautifully matches the jewelery embellishments. While I have otherwise been completely and totally over the Fendi Spy bags, I do like these sequined ones. The sparkly sequins always look great during the holidays and can dress up any evening outfit. Personally, I would choose the violet one, but the gold is fabulous as well. These handbags have velvet handles and satin piping to complete their elegant and chic look. Good news, it's on sale at Bluefly, $2,020.

Fendi has put out another fabulous handbag. This handbag is the Zig Zag hobo and it comes in the Fendi logo zucca print as well as beautiful blue leather. One of my favorite things about Fendi handbags are their use of bright colors. Excluding the plain Zucca print bags, of course. Most major labels have a signature print - Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Coach - which many people love, but the bags can look a bit boring. So I love this burst of color on the otherwise ordinary zucca bag. The blue Zig Zag is soooo soft and luxurious with only the finest leather. These bag are colorful, but not in such a way that it couldn't be an everyday bag. The color is vivid, but somewhat discreet. Any of you lucky ladies that can drop the $2,710 for either of these handbags, they are ready for pre-order at Neiman Marcus.

This Fendi handbag is from the Selleria line designed with the classic, original style icon in mind.  This doctors bag shape always look sophisticated and stylish. I love the large, contrasting stitching and the subtle Fendi logo ribbon detail. I like the label to be out there (especially with such a fabulous one as Fendi), but not in your face, and I think this handbag accomplished that. Don't be afraid to carry a white bag year round, those stuffy- no white after Labor day- rules are long gone. This handbag's handles measure 17'' with 5'' drop, so it's best held on the arm or hand. I'm loving the Fendi "To You" handbags, but I especially like these sparkly Disco evening bags. As you can see, it comes in gold and silver, and it can be carried as a clutch or worn as a shoulder bag. The Fendi "To You" purse is made from sumptuous suede with patent leather dots throughout on the gold one and metallic dots on cognac colored suede for the silver one. These bags display beautiful top stitching and a rolled suede handle (4" drop). The handle can be folded over for clutch carry, if you like. The Disco "To You" has a zip top closure with snap at one end and the zipper is flanked by jewel-like acrylic pieces for added beautification.  It has a sensuous satin lining with an interior patch pocket and leather-trimmed Fendi nameplate. This Fendi Island Spy bag is strange looking with those fringes everywhere. The vibrant colors are nice, as well as the beadwork, but they should have stopped there. The fringes take the embellishments over the top and ruin what could have been a nice bag. I'm glad to know these overused fringes will be gone by the spring collections.

Something neat about this handbag, there's a secret compartment with a mirrored end hidden in the loop of the flap closure.  This bag is available at eLuxury.com, $6,260.

Although, in past collections I have really liked the Fendi Spy bag, I'm getting tired of it. Time to move on.

I would be hard pressed to find a bag more hideous than this, well by Fendi anyway. What the heck is going on with those fur patches? Oh, it's mink. Still ugly. And the super long strap?? To make matters even worse the skin is wolf fish. I don't know if any of you have ever seen a wolf fish, but they are literally the ugliest things in the sea. Every thing about this handbag reeks. And to add insult to injury, they want $4,330 for this monstrosity. Ummm, not good.
