I love how Lanvin’s chain shoulder straps always have some sort of ornamentation that makes the strap look like a necklace. On the larger bags it’s usually grosgrain ribbon and a coin charm, but for this evening bag/clutch it’s ostrich feathers. The strap can be removed and worn as a belt or a necklace, but I kind of like it as the strap to this beautiful bag. Pair with a LBD and let this bag steal the show.

It has a detachable silver toned chain with a burnished gold insert and ostrich feather trim that can be word as a belt or necklace. It has a blush grosgrain tassle detail on one side. Sometimes it’s all about the texture when it comes to making a bag special, and classic quilting is always a “do” in my opinion (there’s a reason it’s Chanels’ signature). Other times it’s the quality of the leather, but this Lanvin handbag has both. The super soft leather is diagonally quilted giving the bag depth and sophisticated style. My favorite part of all Lanvin bags are the shoulder straps with woven ribbon entwined in the gold chain and the signature Lanvin coin charm. The straps lend the bag a laid-back, relaxed chic element for not found in many designer bags.

There’s only one thing I love more than a Lanvin mini Pop, and that’s a python mini Pop. OK, so it’s not real python, it’s embossed leather, but it still has a light flakey feel like real exotic. Lanvin handbags are the ultimate ‘girlie’ accessory, always having some kind of ribbon or charm details. This mini Pop has both, a dusty pink ribbon intertwined with the chain strap and a signature gold coin charm. I’m also loving the color of this Pop, the burnt orange with a gold finish is practically the essence of Summer, and perfect for the season.

If you’re a seasonal bag girl then you probably pull out your white or linen bags in the Spring and put them back in the Fall. This Lanvin woven tote is definitely a Spring/Summer bag and could even qualify as a beach bag. It’s a roomy tote and would be a great every day bag for those of us that carry a lot of “stuff”.

Animal print is a big trend in Fall and winter and 2010 is no exception. This Lanvin handbag is one of my favorite examples to showcase the trend. It’s an elegant and chic ‘classic flap’ design that can be worn for many years and still be in fashionable.

This designer handbag is brown tone leopard print in pony skin. It has a front flap with brass metal and black perspex turn lock closure and double gold metal chain link shoulder straps interwoven with black grosgrain ribbon that fastens in a bow at one side. The chain straps have flat patent leather strips on the shoulders for added comfort. Chains thread through metal eyelets at the front and back of the bag. My favorite of all the Lanvin handbags is their Happy shoulder bag.  It’s a classic, flap style, but the chain and ribbon strap and gemstone turn lock give it a stylish and chic updated look.
