That's A Fabulous Handbag

When I think of designer handbag, Mulberry isn’t the first label to pop in my mind, but this Mulberry bag and a similar Balenciagia bag are the hottest selling handbags of the season. They sell out within days of being released. I absolutely love the bag, the jewel tones are a great alternative to the standard animal prints and reds we usually see during the Fall season. The Marni satchel is smart and pulled together with beautifully tailored lines. The only hardware are the buckles on the double front straps, and the turn lock closure for an overall clean look.

This is a bright cabbage green flap-over leather bag with a braided single top handle and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. It has gold-toned hardware, a gold-toned turn lock closure and double buckle fastening details on the front flap. Two of the hottest selling handbags this year have been from Mulberry and Balenciagia, and both bags are similar in style being a single flap satchel and resembling a Hermes Kelly. The structured and sophisticated design is classic, but both brands made the bags distinct in their own right. Out of the two I prefer the Mulberry Bayswater bag (but I like the Balenciagia as well), as it has a more clean appearance with little to no embellishments.

This is the prettiest little baby blue bag, it reminds me of the first diaper bag I got for my then baby boy (*sigh*). The soft blue has an innocent, youthful quality that it lends the bag, while the quilting and chain strap give it a Chanel-esque quality.

Mulberry isn’t a label that’s usually on my radar, but their handbags this season are fabulous. They are classic in shape with a single top flap and square structured body, a design that’s functional and sophisticated. I’m loving the prints and colors they are using in the spring 2011 bags the best, though. I love this bag with the sand and silver zebra print, it’s a spring-y bag, but also a great day to evening bag.

This designer handbag is a sand toned leather single flap with silver toned zebra print. It has  a pretty pink gold toned turn lock closure on the front flap, and stitch detailing throughout the bag. Inside there are two back wall slot pockets and one back wall zip pocket. It has pink gold toned protective feet. Another great color for Fall! I'm loving the great color choices we're having for fall/winter that are usually reserved for spring. This is Mulberry's Milton shoulder bag. I like the the distressed look on this bag.

This east west shoulder bagis emerald buffed metallic leather with gold hardware. the Mulberry bag has two external pockets, twist lock closures at corners, a zip across the top, two handles and has a lined interior with a gold trimmed pocket and divider.

Isn't this an absolutely fabulous bag?! It's Mulberry's Ostrich Bayswater bag. The color is gorgeous, and especially on ostrich. I think this bag has a very Birkin look.
