Sometimes, albeit rarely, Marc Jacobs designs something that has me scratching my head. This cat bag is certainly one of them. It's from his less expensive Marc by Marc Jacobs label, the line that is sometimes quirky and strange, but even so, this bag makes no sense to me. Only a cat lover, a true wild eyed, owns-at-least-ten-cats, cat lover would want a feline image on their handbag, and that type of person would probably not shell out $430 for it. I could possibly see it working on a canvas shopper, priced at around a hundred bucks, but on a leather handbag? Would any of you be caught dead wearing this thing? Available at Net a Porter, $430.
