Marchesa is now creating a line of glamorous evening bags. The line will launch in Spring, 2010, and were debuted at their runway show yesterday in New York. The designer handbags are as gorgeous as the line's fabulous gowns. The new line makes perfect sense, only a certain kind of bag could compliment their gowns, so why not design them yourself and save the client from possibly ruining their overall look with a cupcake Leiber.
Marchesa co-founder Georgina Chapman hinted to WWD that the company is going to expand in other ways, as well. Perhaps a shoe line will be next?
